electricity services, water and roads, as well as evaluating the construction of a bi-national pediatric ICU were the issues raised by Members in the day Gerardo Yellow Border Policy, organized by the Chancellery Thursday 5 May in Montevideo.
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Roberto Conde and deputy ministers were invited to the Executive, the mayors and deputies of departments that border both Argentina and Uruguay, to discuss various issues of border policies in order to take as a state policy.
Several legislators took the opportunity to raise various issues regarding border issues and the legislature riverense special claim by providing various services like water supply, electricity and roads affecting small border towns but that states should make arrangements necessary to empower service. Yellow, especially reminded the town of Punta de Corrales, Villa Indart and Cerrillos, who have many needs and require binational coordination to work on solutions. Yellow
also referred to the pediatric ICU absence of both the city and in neighboring Rivera Santana do Livramento and asked to consider a joint investment especially since lack of technicians in our country and the possibility of having trained human resources Brazil.
